Default Parole date says..to be determined?

Good Afternoon guys and gals,

My boyfriend was arrested Aug 18 and is waiting to see the parole board in Stateville ..he was supposed to be off parole Jan 10 2012 now after he was sent to Stateville his idoc profile says this (down below) instead of his prior discharge date in Jan '12 . Does anyone know why that is? he has no new charges pending in court ( case was dismissed). He was sentenced to 44 months on 9/11/2008. Does that mean he had to serve 85% of his sentence?? Sorry if my question is all over the place, I just have soo many questions and my mind is boggled,
I havent been able to speak to him as he is in Stateville R&C right now

Thanks

Admission Date:
08/26/2011
Projected Parole Date:
TO BE DETERMINED
Last Paroled Date:
01/11/2010
Projected Discharge Date:
TO BE DETERMINED

My husbands says the same thing. He is awaiting a parole violation hearing. He was to discharged off of parole on 7-22-11, but was arrested and IDOC hold was placed on him on 7-19-11. I was told that the date is not the parole discharge date any longer, that the MSR part of sentence had stopped on the date of violation. If mine is violated for the arrest date he will come home after seeing the board, however the PO put march 09 as a violation date for dirty drop-he did not have any more dirty drops and was completely clean for 2 yrs. If they violate him for the dirty drops he will owe them 28 months and 1/2 of that 14 months.
Now with your loved ones. If he gets violated and serve the remaining sentence in custody, the remaining time will be cut in half if he is not a class x for 85%. Hopefully he is 50% and he will do half of what was left on parole. He would come home early then the orginal parole discharge date. In prison he would do 1/2 the remaining msr time and if he was on the streets he would do the full msr. If he does violate--look at it like this. He finishes sentence inside sooner than in the outside, and when he gets out IDOC has not a bit of control over him. Hope this helps. I believe the info I have given is correct, however others will be along shortly and can answer anythig I may have made a mistake on. Good luck too

Violent offenses are served at 85%. It doesn't matter what Class the charge is.

I can't answer as to why he's still being held. I hope the situation is resolved soon.
