Talking Why cant I chat pop up message idea

Hi all staff in PTO, and members who are reading this

I was just thinking to myself, ( outloud to my dog to be honest lol)
It would be nice if there was a way to stop people posting the same question over and over again wouldnt it. I know when I posted the question, there were no other people asking ( or not within the first few pages anyway, the search option was broken when I joined so wasnt able to search ) I also didnt see a sticky explaining about the chat and the requirements, ( But I may have had a man look lol )
But since I have been a member, I have see this very same question asked many times over and over again, even when there is a thread ( like mine ) right infront of them asking the very same question. Some people dont seem to look at the other questions been asked before asking their own questions. Lots of repeating the same question. Maybe a pop up message when someone starts a new thread in here ( just in the PTO Chat Room forum not in any other one ) saying something like.

"Before you post a new thread, if you are trying to get into the chat room, you need to have ## amount of posts, and be a member for such and such amount of time before being able to enter. If your problem is access the chat room, please check how long you have been a member, and how many posts you have. If this is not the problem you wish to talk about, close this, and post your thread"

If its a little pop up ( kind of like the pop up a member can have if they get a PM) But without the option to turn it off. But in saying that, when I person meets the requirements to enter the chat room, the pop up will no longer appear.

I know there is a sticky thread explaining why people cant enter the chat room. But its as clear as day, that a lot of members dont read it. Looking at the date that thread was made, I have to put my hand up too, as I was one of those people who didnt read it .
So maybe a pop up message would be a away to get around so many people repeating the same question over and over again?
I dont know if this is something that is possible or not, but thought it was worth suggesting

Hon, if you look at a lot of those threads when they're first posted, they aren't even in the Chat Room discussion forum! Mods move them. New People who start in these forums, who don't have a lot of experience with on-line groups other than Facebook, don't have their bearings yet. It takes a while to locate everything, to even understand that there is a forum for your question.

Yeah I thought of that too, after I posted this hehe.
Although most of them just add it in the "questions" board. So maybe the same pop up thing could go in there.
Or even something that pops up to all member who are new, but a different message in the pop up. something like
"Before you post, please be sure you in the correct board. Any questions click on "link here" Or if you want to know about the PTO chat please click on "link here"
Thank you
PTO Staff"

or something like that, and then a pop up of that other message when they go to post a message in either the questions board, or the PTO chat board

I dunno, like I said, only a suggestion, I know a lot of people get lost etc. This would be very helpful for the n00bs, and also cut back on a lot of un needed work for the staff. Im sure they have much better things to do in here, then to have to move threads that are repeating themselves over and over again.
Or having to repeat over and over again why someone cant chat yet.
It would free up a lot of time for the staff, and yeah, make it a lot easier to find ones way around the forum when a n00b still finding their footing
