Feeling More in Love After Visiting

I havent been a member here long enough to blog but i really need this to get off my chest to someone who will understand. i thought for sure i loved my man with all my heart and soul but today when i went to visit..... i fell even MORE in love with him. For no certain reason or anything, just seeing him and spending time with him. im one of the lucky ones who gets to go to every visit but today was just different... id travel across the country to spend two hours with that man!!

I know Exactly how u feel.... We have been together 7 months and in those 7 months we maybe spent a total of 8 days apart he been gone 35 days and I am lost without him... I didnt realize how much I love him or much I need him in my life crazy

wow phillip and i were together right at 7 months before he got locked up in 05. i stuck it out with him til september of 06. the only reason i left him then was because my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. we only wrote once a month during her treatments. you dont realize how much time something like that really takes. but we have been back together since may and i have only missed one visit since. its like we never skipped a beat. i guess its cuz of the reasons i had to leave. he gets it and he loves my daughter

I know what you mean, I actually get like that when we are on the phone, or get a letter sometimes. I just remember all over again why I love him so much & love him that much more!

I guess that is why I am so in love with David because it always get deeper. Two months ago we got our first contact visit and it amazed me that even though we have a child together its like all of our feelings is new. He makes me feel like I am in high school all over again. I was so nervous I told him not to kiss me. When I got home he wrote me and told me he didn't want me to know but he was nervous too. We are all so lucky to be so in love.

My best friend told me that I wouldn't believe how close this misfortune in outlives would bring us... She was right he hasn't even been gone long and I am nervous for when he gets out. The relationship feels different now stronger... Yesterday he told me I was his best friend... He never said that... He said the most important thing to him someone can be his girlfriend but you know its real when she your best friend too.... **sigh** so thankful for this site to share things with people that truly understand

yes we are. and im NOT a crier but after such a great visit today and feeling like im on cloud nine i have been crying at the drop of the dime for the last hour. first time was when i was listening in on my daughter and phillips phone conversation (where he was telling her he needed a huge favor could she please watch out and take care of her mommy for him), then when i was reading the prison wife/husband post, and just now when i read what you said about how lucky we are to be in love????? lol o what a day

we are their best friends because we are the ONLY ones they can trust. Sometimes in the outside world too. i have witnessed so much of his "family" turn their backs on him. but.... that makes me love him even more. Any of yall know that song.... I get like this often sometimes in visit I just stare at him and get the goofiest grin and butterfly's and he will laugh and ask what ?! Lol but I can relate I love my fiancé more then anything in this world just wish things were different because this isn't easy I thought I wouldn't b able to breathe with out him but i am ok and I can see our relationship getting stronger too love is a beautiful thing cherish it

I was talking to a friend of mine some time back. She tends to have shorter relationships. She's always devastated when they are over, but she commented on the fact because mine was lasting: "Don't you miss the butterflies when you fall in love?" My answer "I still get the butterflies every time I even think of my guy."

It really does feel awesome when this type of connection is made during the visit. And then you leave with a huge smile on your face wondering how on earth you could have gotten so lucky to be with this person
