My friend's brother was just transferred to Old Colony and she is wondering what company she needs to contact to et up an account for him to call her. Also, do they offer pre-paid at Old Colony so he can buy phone time through canteen?? If so, what is the approximately cost of an out of state call (she is in NH)?

I talk to someone at Old Colony regularly, and they use GTL... You can either set it up in advance or wait until he calls her Collect. If she sets up a phone account with GTL she needs to pay either $25 or $50, which includes a $5 service fee... I'd recommend having him buy a phone card from the Canteen instead... I'm in MA and I believe the calls cost around $2.25/$2.50. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions let me know!
