I write mine like he's a regular person, I mean I talk about everything to him over letters and send lots of photos.

i do the same. i write like he's in front of me and i'm having a conversation with him. i send lots of pictures. if i'm writing about some place in particular, i'll send him a montage of pictures. like in one of my last letters i was telling him about this nature hike i love to go on, so i sent him a bunch of pictures from all along the hike. he loved it.

we both love music so we write about it often. i'll add song lyrics in with my letters every now and then. we'll also listen to the same radio stations - i asked him what stations he listened to, so i found the links on the internet for the stations and we'll have a laugh about something we heard.

i'll print up stupid news articles i've read to share with him. i'll also print up other various stupid things i've seen on the internet.

there's loads i can say... are you looking for advice on any particular thing?

My friends want to know about my daily life out here. A trip to the grocery store, a walk, etc. Normal things. I also cut out and send articles, sports stories, puzzles, etc.

I write my friend about my every day happenings. We also talk about sports, and anything that happens to pop into our heads. We have talked about his laziness for keeping his "room" (as I call it) clean, little things like that. We don't talk about why he is on DR. I look at it this way, if he wants to talk about it, he will. I also send him jokes, and when he sends me poems he's written, I type them and send him a copy back.
