Lightbulb A Few Questions

Okay, So I am still new to this thing, and have some questions.

Does the Jpay thing always work, or are there times that the inmate does not get the letter? I am asking because my pen pal suggested I might use Jpay to cut our turn around time in half, and it seems like it has been long enough to get a reply from a snail mail letter. Yet I have not heard back.

I also got sort of letter happy, and sent a Jpay message every three or four days because he did say he liked getting letters, and I always have a lot to say to him. Is it possible that I sent too many letters, and got annoying?

Am I the only person that gets really excited, and can't wait to get a reply from their pen pal sometimes? That could be the answer to all of these if I am not the only one like that.
