Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Old Colony Correctional Visits

Hi,

My dad is incarcerated at OCCC and I am going to visit him soon. I have never visited a prison before so I am very, very nervous. I have no idea what to expect, so I'm hoping someone can give me some information. I already read the documents on the MASS DOC website, what I'm looking for is some first-hand information and advice on procedures and such... I basically would like to know what happens from the moment I walk in the door, and what to do. My dad says the CO's won't be very helpful, and will treat me as if I've visited before and should know all the procedures. I'm sorry if my request sounds silly, but I'm very nervous. Thank you in advance!
