Default Just a few Questions about MN visitation

my husband is right now is located in the CCA Arizona Correctional Center he has filled out request forms to transfer to Minnesota except I am hearing rumors that him and I won't be able to have family visit's like we have been where he is located.
during the weekends during visitations we are able to spend quality time together in a small trailer that is located on the facility.
could someone share with me what it's like to visit there husband in a Minnesota prison? and what to expect? do they have special privilege's for family members or not?
Granted it would be great for him to be much closer to me except I do enjoy spending that quality time with him during the weekends when I get the chance.

sorry if this is posted in the wrong area also still a tad new to all this.

No they do not allow "special" weekend visits in any prison in Minnesota, depending where he goes visiting hours vary for instance Stillwaters visiting for Fri. 10:15am to 7:45 pm Sat. and Sun. 8:15 am to 5:45 pm. Hope this help you some.

The only thing that wasnt mentioned is that the visit is only 1-2 hours and you are only allowed a brief hug and kiss on the cheek upon arrival and departure! And he is only allowed 16 hours of total visits in a month...
