Sorry to message you out of the blue - my name is Rachel, I'm a director for a TV company called Fresh One Productions - we're owned by Jamie Oliver.

We have been working on a BBC documentary about what it's like growing up with a mum involved in the prison system, following three incredible, brave teenage girls. We're now working on a series, and are meeting young people (aged 17-26) - men and women - who have a family member involved in the prison system. It could be a mum, dad, or partner.

The observation documentary series will be told from the young person’s point of view, a unique perspective as they cope with life without a family member and we are looking for people who might be interested in taking part or finding out more. All conversations are in total confidence, with no obligation to take part at this stage, and I am experienced film maker used to working with vulnerable young people and their families. I would love the opportunity to be able to tell you more about what I am making.
