Seeing the Board 6 months early, will he get out early?

Ok my guys pe date is Oct 30 so we have been looking forward to a hopeful august kick out, but now that the parole board is having hearings 6 months prior to pe dates he should go in front of board in April. Would he then be eligible for a may kick out? I'm not holding my breath on this just am wondering if anyone has had any luck with this.
