Writing a letter to the judge before sentencing...PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

PTO family, I need help. My boyfriends sentencing is January 27th and I have to write a letter to the judge. I am so scared and need help. Please help and give me any advice and/or pointers that you may have.
