Default Rockingham County jail

Alright so this might be a stupid question, but do they have contact visits there? I swear the last time I visited I overheard someone ask the inmate if they get contact visits and he replied with "after sentencing".

Anyone know if they do or not? I'm trying not to get my hopes up but..
I would LOVE it if my month old son got to be held by his daddy rather than just see him through glass

I don't know if they do it in Rockingham but when my nephew was locked up his girlfriend had the baby. His girlfriend asked for a special visit so he could meet his baby. She wrote to the head of the jail. It was granted and they all met in a room and he got to hold his new son. But when my granddaughter had my great-grandaughter and the baby's father was in a county jail, my grandaughter wrote a letter making the same request. It was denied. Leads me to believe it is totally up to whoever is in charge. But worth the try!

Only problem is, he's not on the birth certificate :/ I decided not to add him until he gets out. Hopefully if they do allow it, that doesn't screw my bf out of holding his son. I'll deffinatly write a letter though! Thanks

Oh and on the website it says superintendant, do i write to him?

Yes. He would be the person you would write to. Explain why you have to wait until after he gets out to have the birth certificate amended. You aren't married. Would the hospital not allow you to put his name on it because they wouldn't let my Grandaughter put her baby's dad's name on it. That hospital's policy. Not all the same in each hospital. But this was in NH in Laconia, NH.

My fiancee is an inmate at Rockingham County and Im wondering how we go abouts getting married? Want to marry before the feds pick him up. I need to know the process. Does anyone know the procedure at this facility?
