Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Default Any others out there with Lifers in NC?
My brother is serving his 11th year of a life with no parole sentence. Though much on this site is encouraging, I'm sitting here with tears knowing I'll never be able to post "4 months and 12 days till my brother comes home". I'm sad and frustrated and wonder if there are others on this forum with family doing life with no parole? I just need someone to relate too I guess... I'm in CO, my brother in NC, so I don't get out there much to see him. Thanks...
