So my husband just got transferred from County jail to State Prison. I know the prison he. Is in but I wanna find out his new number so I can write to him he isn't coming out in the Inmate Locater and when ever I call the prison they can't give me any information!!

Sometimes the Inmate Locator takes a couple days to catch up with changes. I'm pretty sure the prison will at least confirm that he's there. Realize prison staff does not release information because they can not confirm the identity or intent of a caller.

go to prison search put the prison name in then put his name in or go to mug shot.com and put in the county jail name and then his name and you can pull up his summery. if all else fails go to the prison web site get there phone # and cll the prison. hope this helps

sorry , i did not read your whole blogg . the prison locater may not be updated yet , depending on how fast they update there system . when the go to prison they usaly don't have any contact wih anybody for 30 days or so . thats called reception where they get evaluated. to determen where they go . i would try to call the prison again and ask to get transfere to medical they should know . every body see medical . good luck

Did you try to go onto the JPAY website? Its faster to write on there anyway. I was able to find my boyfriend (along with his DOC#) within 24 hours of him being placed in state prison.
