Default Questions about trans leave??

Rumor has it right now that on January 1st the 30 day trans leave is changing to 90 days. My fiance is in Deer Ridge and he says a lot of people are talking about this, does anyone know any thing about this? Thanks

AIP transleave is always 90 days.

my son was just released this week to transition...and they told him that his transition would be 60 days.....up until his teleconference with his counselor, PO, and mentor, we assumed it would be 90 days.

Orelectric: Was this a transitional leave through the AIP program? It's possible that he got into AIP later than usual and only has 60 days left on his sentence.

no, he has 4 months left on his sentence. yes, he was transitioning from the powder river aip program. as i said, right up until he was actually released to trans leave, we assumed 90 days.

doesn't actually matter now, though. he went to coffee with a woman he met at the NA meeting, and it turns out she was in bridges to change as well, not as a trans leave from DOC, but from clackamas county jail. because fraternizing with other people in the trans program is a rule violation at bridges to change, he's back at coffee creek for intake back into prison to finish his sentence.

it doesn't make any sense to me that DOC wants to spend another 60k incarcerating him, when all he did was go to coffee.
