Do your "friends" act fake since your man is locked up?

My fiance has been in jail for almost 4 months now and we have about 3 more to go but since he has been in I've notced that my girlfriends are distant and don't call as much and it makes me kind of upset bc I know I would always be there for them especially in a time like this.

Some of them don't know what to say. I have friends that have distant themselves from me just because they don't know what to say to me. Some people have a hard time being there for someone when they can't understand and they don't want to say the wrong thing. They don't understand by doing this they end up hurting us more.

Some of my friends are supportive and relize how much I love him and that I will marry him next yr and others dont agree and are upset that I dont just go out all time w them and I wouldnt like it if he did that so if they cant respect that and my relationship ur not my friend and those people are no longer in my life I have had it w people I live this man.hes a good man we can always make.new friends. Stay strong
