Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hello everyone!

My dad is serving his 26th year of his life sentence in Kinross. He is in charge of the agricultural program there and hopes to start a farm of his own if/when he gets out. He is not eligible for parole and has been in prison since I was 6 years old.

I am here looking to be part of the community as well as to find information on how I can help my dad get out. Currently he is serving 2 current 40 to 60 year sentences along with a life sentence, all related to one crime. One charge is for kidnapping and the other two are for first degree sexual misconduct.

My dad has already finished serving the time for the drug charges - which he was SOOOOO guilty of and is now repentant. However, the charges he is now serving for are for a crime he did not commit. I am not sure where to start and would greatly appreciate any direction. I do not even know how to find out if they kept DNA evidence from the case, since we are talking about 1986.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.
