Calling the prison??

Hey ladies... i just need some advice. My man usually calls everyday. and he hasn't called in 5 days, i'm worried. we aren't fighting and we're good.. we don't write cuz he calls all the time.... i've never called the prison where he is but i was gonna call & see if they are on lockdown or if he's in the box. i don't want to seem like a hysterical girlfriend & if i call do they tell them someone called asking about them??

Call! I would actually I had this same situation before and I called. Your probably not the only girlfriend calling.

If he's cool with one of the guards they might tell him but who cares you have the right to be a worried girlfriend

There is nothing wrong with calling to find out if the facility is on lockdown. I do it all the time. And if the facility isn't on lockdown, you could try and speak with his counselor. He or she may be able to tell you if he's in the hole or whatnot. And, no, they don't typically tell an inmate when a loved one called.

Same here I haven't heard from mine either today is day 4 and this just isn't like him. Even when he was upset with me he called the next day. I haven't called yet, but if I don't hear from him by tomorrow I will call his dad to see if he's heard from him then the prison good luck hun I feel your pain im going nuts myself right now.

Definitely call ! who cares what the prison thinks. I call if I dont hear anything in 24hours. Just ask them if his unit is on lock down, or if he is in the hole, and write him because he should get the letter within a couple days no matter where he is.

I mailed my handwritten letter today, but I've been sending jpay's every day since I talked to him last (Sunday). If he's in the hole will they give those to him like the regular mail? Oh my 8 years of this? Im going freaking nuts. This man better keep his nose clean (sorry im getting frustrated now). This just isn't like him and its killing me

Im not sure about jpay, because we dont have that where my fiance is, but I know that regular mail will get there within 3 days. Did you call yet? The whole unit could be on lockdown, or they could of moved him.

and he forgot yesterday was our 3 year anniversary.
no card or phone call.
maybe i should be posting in the When Its Over forum.

Shouldn't give up so easily they go thru phases and boughts of depression just keep up the letters and jpays another thing is call the phone company find out if there's any issues there
