Question Paintings

Hey all,

Just want to know if i can send a painting to the Polunsky Unit D/R ? Probably not but im sure someone will know for sure!

Also how quick is the mail moving at the moment?

I don't believe paintings can be sent to prisoners. However, a photo of the painting could be sent.

I checked TDCJ's website and couldn't find any rules on what can or can't be sent in the mail. However, there is an e-mail address on this site for inquiries.

If they don't handle those types of questions, surely they will direct you. The guy you're corresponding with should know the answer.

From your home all you can mail are photos, letters, cards, and articles/clippings. Books, blank paper, envelopes, and blank cards (white envelopes only) must be mailed from the vendor. They can also have calendars but they can't have the wired type. Sorry--no paintings!

Just before I read here.I send a letter to my friend part if it is drawing by colored pencil.

Disappointed should have do check 2times or more!

I had no problem to write small cartoon (with black pen)in my letters.

I had to send back-up letter via jpay.
