Hi All...
My name is Mae and my younger sister was just sentenced what is going to add up to a total of three years. She was away a few times before. Did a year at one point.

Truth is, I came to this site to learn how to be a better sister. The first time she went away I cried myself to sleep at night, started letters and never sent them, and basically hid. I want to make sure I don't do that this time. So far so good. Two week. Two Letters. and I put $50 commissary in for her. I'm sending out a Steven King book,stamps, pj's, underwear and socks tomorrow or the next day. (As soon as I figure out what the regulations are. They confuse me a little bit. I'm very new to this. I take care of her daughter 2x a week and shes with a family friend the rest of the week. This is all new to me. I don't know what to write in the letters. She said no pictures of the baby. She won't even let me talk about her soo... I guess I just go with her flow? Suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
