Hello, everybody. I already wrote a very short intro in the main introductions board, but I wanted to write something here too.

Truth be told, I still don't even know if my friend will be convicted (although it seems like the most likely possibility, ) so of course I don't know where exactly he could be sent. I believe the case is federal (I might be wrong,) I don't know if that means he can be sent to a facility in another state.

I wanted to try and learn as much as possible about the system and other's experiences, so I can maybe help him get through things (and also maybe help myself be less worried about him.) As I learn more about his situation I'll try to update people with our experiences; in the meantime, I would like to thank all of you for the help and support.
