Default Timothy Stemple - OK -15 Mar 2012 Executed

The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals Friday set an execution date of March 15, 2012 for a Jenks man convicted in the death of his wife in 1996.


Death row inmate Timothy Stemple, 46, was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of his wife, Trisha J. Stemple, 30, on October 24, 1996.

Family members of Oklahoma death row inmate Timothy Shaun Stemple are appealing to Gov. Mary Fallin to delay his March 15 execution so a forensic animation specialist can present evidence he claims conflicts with the state's account of how Stemple's wife was killed.

Clemency has been denied and it seems the Gov won't step in.

"We don't have the power to grant clemency without a recommendation from the (Pardon and Parole) board," Alex Weintz said, Gov. Fallin’s spokesman. "The governor does have the power to issue a stay but she does not plan to do that."

And those who have to carry out the action.... Never forget the guys who are there just doing what they do that are in the room or behind the door. They feel it to....

They do it because they decide it with their free will.
But, as they commit murder, lets pray for their souls also. Like that, thank you for reminding us, slipperypete.

Do the officers kill or are they at least making sure if it has to be done the one doing it is going to make sure it is done right and fair, to the best of their ability, with the least pain and suffering. Trust me they could make it a lot worse and no one would know the difference!!!
