What happens to inmates money once they transfer from jail to prison??

Hello! Quick question.. Where does all the money from the inmates books go once they've been transferred from jail to the prison facility? I read somewhere on the forum that the money will no longer on their books. So where does the money go will the jail just take it from him? Thanks if anyone knows the answer to this...
I just put $130 on my husbands account and then he was suddenly transferred him to NNCC 2 days later.

When my man was still in county I put money on his books right before he was transferred to NNCC so the money would transfer when he did cuz I didn't know about jpay or PTO yet. He wasn't able to buy anything until he was classified though

I just found out that yes, the money put into his books was being transferred to the new place. To Dolph... no, I'm not aware of any limit.

My fiance was just tranferred to nncc from elko county. I was told by nncc to put money on him by jpay and I didnt but I was wondering when will he has access to it. And how long does it take before he can use that money to call me. or even beable to call me period. bc if he calls I can accept it via my visa card. can you guys tell me?
