I dont have money for a gym membership right now so I just work out at home and go do Birkim yoga every now and then. I have dumbells at home which I use and for cardio I just take advantage of all the hills in my neighborhood. My roomate recently told me about a site called ww.exercise.tv, check it out they have great FREE workout vids!

I go to gym and work out at home but I do prefer to work out at home. I have a treadmill and wii sports (plus the 30 day shred dvd..which is awesome but kills me) so I always feel like i'm getting a better work out at home. I only go to the gym to use up my membership.

I have 2 of these, they are so much fun! Not a great work out but a fun one

I'm starting my home workout June 1st. I just want to lose inches off my stomach and arms. And, do workouts to help round, and lift my butt.

I had to join a gym. I'm a total "environment" girl - when I'm at home I'm only motivated to watch TV or play on the computer. lol So I joined a gym and the one that I go to now is awesome - it offers exercise classes. LOVE them! Even if I have to down-grade to a Planet Fitness or some other more basic gym I've fallen in love with the way I feel after a good work-out, so I think I'll always be a gym rat. lol

I go to a gym, and I also recently started working out with a personal trainer for free (we are bartering, I am helping him write a proposal, and he is training me). Working out with a personal trainer is really good, he is showing me all sorts of great exercises and ways to stretch to minimize back problems and pain. I went to the gym yesterday on my own, and went on the bike and I am dying right now from the pain... it sucks, so I called him, and he said just a hot shower, and eat banana or potato. I thought there would be some magic pill to make the pain go away, but no... so yah... I have been MIA from the gym for a few months, but I used to do 3 times a week, I'm trying to lose my tummy and I have 6 months to do it! So I need to make some progress.

I only exercise at the gym using the cardio machines. I alternate between the eliptical and treadmill. Sometimes I use the stationary bike and stairmaster. I love working out at the gym on the machines because they tell you exactly how many calories you burn which is good to keep track of for weight loss. On the days that I dont exercise I workout harder than I normally would the following day. I have started doing military style push ups once again for my strength training. It may not sound like much for strength training but military style push ups are very difficult but I know that I am slowly getting stronger because I am able to do more and more push ups.

The only execise I do is 1 hour of Zumba 4 times a week. I LOVE zuma! I cant stand running on a treadmill. Zumba also burns 500-1000 calories per hour and ur not even tired after! If you havent already, check it out! Most gyms and community centers offer classes.

I have Power 90 from several years ago and it is my total go to in between the gym! Sometimes I am more sore after doing that than I am after a work out at the gym

I exercise at home and I belong to a fitness club. I walk twice a day with the dog, but really that is not so much for me as for him. It does help, but not like the gym.

I have a personal trainer 3 times a week and I swim- and I mean swim- every day! I love the water. I am a lap swimmer and I do water aerobics 5-6 days a week. I also spend significant time in the whirlpool and sauna. That is like desert, and it is wonderful for your skin! The fitness club that I belong to is only $9.95/week, they have on site day care for those who need it, and I think I can afford to do this for myself.

The personal trainer is extra.... but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I could just do all the circuit stuff, and the cardio and the pool and never use a trainer, but he is getting me where I want to be... faster.... plus he is very pleasant and I enjoy that hour very much.

I do not lift weights! I personally do not think that is a female sport and I don't do it.

When my son was little and I was stuck at home, I bought Jazzercise videos. There are several of them out there and they are wonderful. They combine cardio with strength and toning and stretching. One of my friends lost 55 pounds just doing jazzercise every night. No diet per se... just Jazzercise. If you like music and dance and if you can be silly, then I highly reccomend that program for those who are broke or at home with little ones.

I do not follow any particular diet. That was put on my list of things he did not like many years ago and I am over it now. I eat the right foods most of the time, cheat on occassion and once in a while I have a drink or two. Most of the diets out there are dangerous. Add veggies to your day. Start with one extra cooked veggie and one extra raw one, then add 6 more ounces of milk to your day and fresh fruit. If you put all that in you and can still squeeze in the bad stuff, it won't hurt you so much.
