MG- So glad to hear the great news about your husband.

Sorry that hug had to cost 2 weeks. Sometimes you wish that they could bend the rules for something that is so meaningful to family members.

Good Morning!

I hate to post to run, but I have to hop in the shower and head for Louisville by 8 a.m. Gotta pick up my daughter and bring her out here for court, then take he back to the Rehab. Hopefully, after today, she'll be allowed to see her kids and call them to talk to them

Yep, she was given "supervised" visitation, so we stopped on the way back and she got to see the younger two...the oldest was in school, but she's gonna call him this evening

I am so grossed out right now, one of my cats caught and ate a huge ass mouse.... IN MY HOUSE ( he must have caught it inside) cept he didnt eat the heart and lungs so I just picked up mouse heart and lungs off my floor ....

Im Backkkk...lol...Na just kidding...sorry i have been MIA..But work has Litterly Kick me ass!..But im now done with that HUGH order...so moving on...

OK so Joey is still with us and He and Darion have been working for my landlady helping her clean and mow her yard moving things etc.....she pays them daily and feeds them...lol...but they also have other rental property...so to make a long story short..

.one of her other renters a single father w/2 sm kids..Darion said he thought they were like 7 & 5 anyway they went over to their apartment to help fix something and Darion said his Heart about BROKE....he said mom i think i just learned a life's lesson...he said i have never felt sooo bad for anyone before like i did tonite. He said that the family had NOTHING in their apartment as far as furniture , tv and later to find out food either. ( Darion said all they had was a mattress on the living floor).....My landlord went to the store and bought them all kinds of groceries Darion said about 200 dollars worth and Darion came to our house and told me what was going on and asked if he could give them stuff from our basement...dresser's (2) a table and 2 chairs, a loveseat, mattress and tv. So i told him yes of course...He later told me that he wanted to bring those kids home with him...

I tried to explain that there are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people in this world just like them and that ...we CANT save or house everyone...

MG113- Darion is a really good kid and has a HEART OF GOLD!

Its just soo sad to me that kids have to suffer.

I BLEED BLUE THRU AND THRU...GO BIG BLUE...KENTUCKY WILDCATS .....ALL THE WAY!

wow jemison you are blessed with a wonderful child!!!

Back in the day when I was 19, I had just gotten out of rehab and had 300 bucks to my name, I used it to get an apt... and I had NOTHING in that apt, I remember eating a twix bar for thanksgiving...... honestly that experince made me who I am today ... I work my ass off to never be in that situation again.

Its one thing for an adult to go thru but children should not have to experience that kind of life... it breaks my heart to hear that.....your right we cant fix them all but helping just one family shows them that their is still good in this world.. I bet what Darion did will effect that family in more good ways then he will ever know!!

well thought i would update everyone on what is happening in my world i still working nights and my grandson is a year old now and is walking on his own. next is to get him potty trained and off the pacifier. will be going out tomorrow and look for a second job again to hold down for the next year i hope. things are really tight here but we are all surviving with six people in a two bedroom home. well that is my world giggles. but life is good we are all okay.

Rosedealer. I was just wondering what had happened to you. When I joined this site you were the nicest ever and definately patient with me. You helped me in anyway you could with questions and just listened to me vent. I came back to this site because of people like you. I just wanted to say thank you so much and its good to know your ok.

MG113- Yes i am blessed to have Darion in my life...he came to us by the grace of god and we never stop loving him since. He too was one of VERY bad home enviorment...in which my daughter saved him and brought him home too me..

..Ive had him since he was 2yes old.

But also glad he too has a big heart and i guess ive taught him well...

Sorry for always being MIA. It's tough working full time and taking 3 classes. But things are a chaotic as usual. B has really been having a rough time lately, so they upped one of his meds. The man was denied for bond reduction, home incarceration and everything else. They said he is a danger to society because of the current charges and his criminal record. It's not looking good for him at all. Patch--you were right. I paid the lady I'm buying my house from in order to stay and now she's telling me I have 2 weeks to move. She's upset because they cancelled the homeowners because the agent popped up and seen 2 pit bulls in the yard. Plus the pits and the lab are destroying the yard. So I put the dogs on craigslist. The pits were taken today and 2 people want to come tomorrow to see the lab. Either way it goes, I had to get rid of them. No apartment that I've found will take pits and the lab is over the weight limit. I know it's going to really hurt B when the lab goes.

On the flip side, B went to stay with my mom and the man's son went to his mom's the entire spring break! So I've had a nice break. Plus I went on a business trip with my new boss and had a great time.
