Default Divine intervention, part two

A thread asking for stories of miracles or Divine intervention related to legal or prison circumstances inspired me here.... Any examples of the Divine stepping in and making something right that could have, and according to the odds, should have gone terribly wrong?

Maybe kind of a minor one but...
Back when I was barely 18, a friend and I were headed into town in her bandbox new Corvette (seriously new, less than 200 miles on it) and we got into an accident- single car, rollover, not my friend's fault at all-that stretch of road was (and still is) pretty notoriously dangerous and she just lost control when the antilock brakes locked despite the name.....She got pinned under the car and almost died, it was awful, but I....I walked away. Bruised, shaken, a nasty cut and two broken fingers, but I actually crawled out of the wreckage, stood up and walked away from it (not far, of course)... the cops say that if I had not been wearing my seat belt, we'd probably both have died because of how I'd have been thrown towards her.

Friends who saw the car at the junkyard told me you couldn't even tell what kind of car it had been, it was that badly mangled.

Here's where the Divine Intervention comes in- Back then, I only wore my seatbelt if the driver asked me to, the driver was making me nervous or there were kids in the car to set an example for. None of those things were true that night but less than a minute before the accident, I put on my seatbelt, no idea why other than that it abruptly seemed like the thing to do.

Needless to say, I've NEVER gone without my seatbelt since that night. God did it for me once, I figure the least I can do to thank him is to not ignore the lesson.
