Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hello everyone. I was sentenced to 27 months on February 21 and still have not received my designation. I have been calling or emailing my PO every couple of weeks to see if she has heard anything yet. (My paperwork says I will be notified by the PO office in my district.) She confirmed again today by email that she has not heard anything.
Has anyone else heard of the designation process taking this long? Thanks.

I am going thru sentencing right now, and I've been told that the time frame between sentencing and self reporting is anywhere from two weeks to 90 days.

In our district, the time frame is running around 5 weeks.

It would be nice if you knew the reporting date so that you could enjoy your remaining time with your family... I know.

It can take up to 90 days from your sentencing date for you to receive a letter in the mail regarding information for your self surrender and the date
