Does anyone know what info Vine Link gives you

I received an e-mail today from Vine Link stating that my husband was out of FLDOC custody for court.He has no reason to be out for court.We have been waiting on him to be transferred to his permanent spot for three weeks now.Are they just saying he is out to court during this transition or is he really out for court?I guess my question is does Vine Link actually tell you if they transferring your love one to another Institution????Please help totally confused

They did for me, even though it was 12 hours late :0/ they stated his name and then said he was transferred to another agency and the time and date.

It should say he has been released to community supervision, That is what it tells me whenever my man gets transferred. Vineink is not always accurate.

I have a local jail roster that I can check and it will tell me whether an inmate has been transferred to state custody, different county jail, etc.

Vinelink has always notified me via e-mail and telephone of any movement he has including his release. I have been fortunate in that I have never experienced any inaccuracies or delays with their service.

When mine went from the custody of the DOC to the custody of the city jail, Vinelink said he was no longer in DOC custody or something like that. It made it seem like he was released and it is about a day or more behind, so I have always known where he was before the service let me know.

I have always gotten very clear information abut who's custody they were in though always AFTER the transfer,.

So far, Vine has told me that he transferred from county to state. Then they told me when he was transferred to "another state institution". It could take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours for the notification to come through.

My guess is that the person doing data entry (don't envy them that job!) has a bunch of ticky boxes to choose from. If they ticked the wrong box accidentally on doing the data entry, then it would tell you whatever ticked box reason the data entry person hit accidentally. Garbage in, garbage out.

VINE link in Kentucky sucks; I am a victim of record with my ex-husband and I know what is going on from his sister WAY before VINE tells me anything. They are slow and inaccurate. I know your case is different in that you want to know and love this man, but I am just saying that in KY, you can't count on it being correct.

Vine's always been pretty fast for me. When my ex boyfriend got out on parole 2 days before Christmas, it texted me within an hour or so (had no clue he was getting out, that's why I signed up for Vine cuz I had a feeling he wouldn't tell me when he was getting out). And when Jesse went from reception to his main prison it called me pretty shortly after.
