Best visit ever, completely not what I expected at all!

So today, I got up at 3:30AM, to make myself presentable and drive 4 hours to my first visit in a new facility. I'm always excited to see my husband, but I was thinking this particular visit might be a pain in the ass, with all the travel, then getting registered, the bus to the actual building, and this facility's reputation for being hard assed.
But it was wonderful. 5 hours long. And no one yelling at us for touching each other's faces, or massaging each other's shoulders, or kissing.
I got to fold myself into his arms, lay my head on his chest, close my eyes, and pretend for a minute that we were alone. In peace. We laughed, and talked, and touched, and spent eons staring into each other's eyes. It was perfect.
(Well, except for the 4 hour drive back, and the lack of ability to sneak into the bathroom.lol)
I wish all visits could be that nice. So, a telepathic thank you to the ladies working in the visit room today for just letting us be, and I hope everyone's Easter was as happy as ours.
