Cotulla Unit Texas Prison... Can anyone tell me about this one?

My man was moved from Garza West to Cotulla. I miss him so much since I haven't talked to him! Can anyone tell me anything on this unit?

My man got moved to Cotulla from Garza West back in October. It's actually not a bad unit. It's pretty small and laid back. He immediately got a job in there and enrolled in classes. The CO's don't give them many problems as long as they stay in check and stay out of trouble. He likes the food and the beds better than Garza West and it's air conditioned. And it's SMALL. His dorm only has like 10 guys. When I go visit, the CO's are really nice and you won't have to wait more than 15 mins to get in. I hope he stays in Cotulla for the rest of his time there. He has made lots of friends and you never really hear of a lot of fights or riots. Don't worry...he's in one of the better units...some like to call "Cadillac" of prisons. Lol. If you have any specific questions, pm me. I'm very familiar with Cotulla.

Thank you so much! I'll be able to sleep better now!!! Lol! They just moved him even further away. I thought they tried to move them closer to home. Oh well. I'm glad it's better than Garza West! I felt sooo bad for him when he was there! It was horrible!

Awww . Yes, sleep easy tonight. He is just fine. The unit is so small I wouldn't be surprised if he meets MY man. Lol. It's definitely better than the Garza units...he might even say its "boring." bit to me boring is good...it means safer. Lol
