No I am serious. Oneida was manufactured first in Canada around the Niagra Falls area and many Native American Legends originated there. It was also an area inhabited by Native Americans. I am sure somewhere along the way, the English stole the manufacturing from them but where the heck did they get the name then????? Many many American words are actually Native American words. For instance the stae OHIO and rivers Monongehela, etc. etc. Can anyone else think of any more words????There are a ton of them all over the country.

Shane's family is from the Red Lake band of Chippewa located in Minnesota. Unfortunately, he is not "enrolled" because we cannot find anyone in his family who has their paperwork anymore. Most don't seem to care or don't want to help him.
Does his tribe have an enrollment office or a Central Location for business? You may be able to track his eligibility through their official records. Our tribe has an enrollment office and can do a search and are very helpful for our tribal members!
My son is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Our tribe consists of many different bands that were placed here together. His father was also an enrolled member of this tribe. I am a descendent of this tribe. My current husband is also enrolled.
