Default Classification confusion

OK,, I am really confused now. My man said he saw Classification this past week, and now we wait for him to be moved but from what he is hearing is at CampHill there is different classification locations within and on their premises. And apparently he saw the classification within the jail and from what he hears if you see them then you are more then likely going to stay at CampHill. I hope this makes sense. And if anyone can get any information on this I would appreciate it. Thank you!

I'll ask my boyfriend tomorrow.. Camp Hill is now his home jail. Before they officially told him he was staying he kind of figured it out because they asked him what size clothes he wore. The next day he got his blues or browns (cant remember which one is for classification/home jail) and they moved him.

i dunno i think everyone sees classifacation at camp hill its a part of the process . they find your " level" then they ship you where they want or you stay there an get moved. my husbands councelor at camp hill was sure he was going to stay there , but he didnt was shipped 3 more hours away.

Everyone is classified at Camp Hill, can be a home jail, or they can ship you out..They are truly in their own time zone..Time has no meaning there. Be patient. They (the powers that be) don't really part with much information, so most of what your inmate hears is from another inmate, who may or may not have a clue. I did visit there and had an chance to discuss an issue with a counselor and found everyone to be extremely nice and as helpful as they could be. But give it time, my husband was there for 6 months, before they shipped him out.

My man has been there for 6 weeks, no classification yet, only saw the counselor once, they truly are on their own time warp there, jeez, he wants to get to his home jail and out of there

I agree you have to have patience through this whole thing. I know its easier said then done but they move at their own pace. Mine was moved about 6 weeks I think it was. And they just tell them the night before to pack up their leaving the next day. All you can do is just keep checking the pa inmate locator. Good luck!

i think the levels are 1-4, so 4 is the highest, what that means really? no clue other then he will have fewer privledges and go more then likely to a high level prison, but levels get reduced over time and with good behavior.
