PTO LoungeCome in... put your feet up and relax... talk about anything non-prison related! Hobbies, Books, Technical and Do it Yourself, Travel and more.
Due to the nature of my job, I work on all different web browsers and there are things I like and don't like about each one. There is Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and probably others. Anyway, I was just curious what is your favorite web browser to use and why???
My favorite is Google Chrome, however it doesn't play well with PTO, so I mainly use Firefox or IE when I come here.

Anything but IE, LOL!! I mainly use Firefox, have tried Google Chrome and like some features but as you said it doesn't work with some applications so I find it easier just to use Mozilla!
Well IE is what came on my computer at home and it's the only thing on my computer at work, so that's what I use. I've never even heard of Safari or Opera.

Me too KandV - anything but IE! (:
Google Chrome - liked its clean look, fast loading but found it lacking in other areas.
Firefox - like the add-ons, that you can personalise it, more options.
Safari - giving that a whirl now - maybe a bit less distracting for me than Firefox,
clean and simple look, fast loading...
if it continues to work well I'll stick with Safari, if not I'll go back to Firefox.

I'm a computer technician for an internet company and can tell you all that Google Chrome is not the most stable browser out there! FireFox will give you less issues with encountering problems and having to close. Safari and Opera are wonderful if you are able to master the system!

I've tried most of them but always come back to IE - just think it's the most user friendly. I dunno.... don't buy into the whole "IE is bad because it's Microsoft" and "too much spyware" etc. In my experience (I work with computers a lot), if there is a problem with the computer.... 99% of the time it's the user, not the computer or the browser

I prefer Firefox but since I can't use that on my iPad, I use Opera. Safari is also on here but I don't care for it too much. I absolutely HATE Internet Explorer....way too many viruses floating around. On my desktop I use Chrome and Firefox but mostly stick to Firefox. Back in the day I loved using Netscape Navigator.
I use explorer for everything really. I just like being able to have tabs...I use Safari for school though, for some reason they did some upgrade on it and now explorer doesn't work...
