How long will he serve?

I'm in love with this man. He's in love with me. I call him Tay, and he's located in WA State DOC for a 8 year sentence. How long do you people who are charged with an 8 year sentence do on good behavior? I really don't know how it works. All I know is that he's been incarcerated for about a year, and I miss the ish out of him
