I think her time serving will help her maybe understand this is not the life she needs to lead.

I am sorry to hear about your sister but agree that maybe this will help open her eyes. She is so young .. try as hard as you can to keep in touch and be a positive role model for her. It sounds like your family is still supportive of her which is awesome .. just don't to much and make it to easy for her ! LOL
Keep us posted on how things turn out !

Oh honey, I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know how long she will be in ad seg, but she will get disciplinary hearings for her cases. If you haven't found them yet, here are links to the TEXAS forums and specifically the Murray Prison Unit - Texas Forum. You will get lots of information there. Good luck!

I am really sorry to see what is going on for your sister. It would not really be possible for us to speculate, particularly without knowing the charges. 30 Cases just can't be good...do you know what this involves? Did she receive any "outside" charges to go along with what she is facing? Write to your sister...I'm sure she could use a friend right now. And perhaps she can share what is going on for her. Just a thought...has she ever been evaluated by mental health? I am wondering what is going on with her and whether there are other things at play...Given her "rebelliousness" as a teen, the charges, periods of doing well and then followed by MAJOR issues sound like several red flags for a variety of mental health issues, that can be improved with treatment. You might want to discuss this with your parents--or perhaps you have already been down this road. Best of luck to all of you!
