Please help: Will I be deported? I've been in the U.S. 40 years.

I am 46 years old. No prior criminal history. I am about to plead guilty to bank fraud. Been in the us for 40 years. I was born in uk. Mom married a us citizen but never made me a citizen. I have been married to a us citizen for 24 years. I am finding out that most likely i will be deported once my sentence is up. Does anyone know if there is any new laws that might help me. I am charged with changing a financial statement in my own business. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also can i be asked to be sent to england if i choose to go get deported voluntarily. Thank you

all i know for sure is your mom being married to a US citizen means nothing....you being married to a US citizen means nothing.....being 40 years old with no criminal background that means you had 12 yrs you could have petitioned to become a citizen but that is neither here nor there now.

if your crime is considered deportable then they will deport you back to your home state/country it is the choice of ICE which area you are deported to.

Have you checked to see if the your charges are deportable???
