Default Any Criminal Justice System Workers ?

Any girlfriends/wives work in the criminal justice system ? Like a lawyer or police officer ? Just curious....I'm pre med right now but the law field has started getting more and more interesting to me lately, maybe it's just because of my baby's case haha but it still seems pretty interesting to me

I'm currently in school for criminal justice. I want to work in corrections or probation/parole when I'm done. I was in the medical assistant program but changed my major after a week. Jail/prison stuff is just what interests me. Go for it if that's what you want to do! My man is 100% supportive of me. (:

That's good ! I know my babe would support me a 100% too , do you think them being in prison would affect our career plans though ? Idk about you, but we're also engaged so we're definitely getting married and idk if that would be an issue if I really do decide to change to pre law...

I have moved your thread here to the PTO Lounge as your post isn't relationship-based or prison related but more of a personal inquiry about other members

I completed a paralegal certificate while My Mr was gone.

Do you work in the paralegal field right now ? And did your employer have a problem with your guy being in jail ?

I use to be in corrections. That turned me off of criminal justice. There are more crooks in uniform then in the pen.

What's the educational requirements to be a c/o? If I'm not mistaken here in NC you just need a high-school diploma.

In FL it's a high school diploma or a GED

Yea its the same here. I think u have to take a CPR class but that's about it. I was very interested in this a while back and my man said hells no haha I would love to be a counsler or prison case manager tho. I think the prison systems need more ppl that care rather than crooks like you said in your previous post.
