hi, i was on here in the past my hubby (kids dad) and is back in. He did 2 1/2 years before got out may 17th, 2010. Well he got hooked on drugs and got into some trouble. So he is back in and gets out November 5th of this year (he got one year) so how is everyone?

Hello Everyone! My name is Ariane. I'm so very excited that I found prison talk online. It has been helping me get a lot of information that I didn't know before. Me and my boyfriend are currently doing 8 years. He won't be eligible for judicial release for at least 3 years. He is going into his 3rd month so we having quite a bit of time left. We have been friends for going on about 2 years and dating for almost a year! We have no children together but I am very much involved in his kids lives. He has his own little cheerleading sqaud! Lol! I WILL be on here a lot to find out any info I can. He is serving at RICI and lately I've been trying to find transportation services. Any suggestions??

Hi Everyone,
My name is Amy. I am 43yrs old. My fiance is currently 15 months in on a 3 yr sentence. We have been together 4 yrs. We have no children together but I have a 20 yr old daughter and he has 6 children ranging in age from 29 to 15. I have custody of the youngest two children. We plan to marry as soon as he comes home. We all love him very much and anxiously await his homecoming.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here and wanted to introduce myself

I'm Gina, Im in the UK, but my man is at the correctional reception center, Ohio, having just come from SOCF after 5yrs there.
We've been together for 9yrs with a possible 18yrs left to ride out

but with every day we grow closer and our love endures ever stronger

At the moment, Im saving to go visit him this year and then to relocate so we can be together.
Its great to be part of the family and I look forward to sharing with you all

I have been a member of the PTO community since may and posted an introduction but I wasn't aware of the regional forums so I am introducing myself to my Ohio members. My KING is a lifer and our relationship is still new and I am new to this whole unconventional relationship. So, hello! I'm in Toledo and I'm hoping to connect to anyone close to me for support.

Hello everyone, My name is Sara....I am 22. From Marion Ohio.....Me and my fiancee met while he was incarcerated. We have been together about a year now....and he is on the last stretch of his 10 year sentence...he is currently serving time in WCI. But a little about me, I work as a home health aide...currently for 2 years now....no kids...lol....but thats a little about me!

I am from the Stark County area mother of three. My heart is broken for him. It is his first offense and I can see the fear in his eyes when I visited him at county. Son Tampering with Evidence prosecutor offered 6months mandatory w/three yrs hanging over his we had PD who didn't want to defend my son 6 wks of pretrials and delays PD comes back say maybe we can talk Prosecutor in to 90 days and parole with no tickets while in Grafton. Told by judge that any time served in county will not be applied to sentence. Son is currently in Stark County Jail since Oct 12. He is supposed to see someone from the re-entry program before transfer. Is it possible that the court can delay release to Grafton by holding up re-entry info and make him spend 90 days in County then transfer to Grafton for another 90days to make the original 6mos. If something underhanded like that happens what are our options. This my son's first offense. I read that Grafton is over-pop but has relatively few incidents. What can he expect?

You will want to look up Lorain Correctional Institution in this forum and plenty of people have written awesome Documentation on it. My husband has been through Lorain twice. He says the hardest thing is being locked down all of the time and cant wait to be transferred to his parent institution.....As far as re-entry I don't know much about that....You may want to post that question under another section to get it some more attention by people here who can help....I am sure he is very scared as they all are...But he will see that its not as bad as they make it seem....as long as you mind your own business and don't create waves with the co's or inmates your time is alot easier. If you have any questions regarding visiting at Lorain feel free to ask...I have been through it over and over again.

*Waves* Hello Ohio ladies, welcome to all the new member or current PTO members that I haven't greeted. I love PTO my loved one's are in various prisons but my boyfriend is in Mansfield. PTO has been very supportive and helpful for me.

But I cannot see him on the DRC inmate search either. Do you have a specific forum in which to post my concern about his not being credited days?

Hello Kim my name is Rachel try checking your counties online docket or sometimes county jails have their own web pages that display their roster of inmates. If you are concerned about his well being call and inquire about him. I am sure that they will calm your fears. They are usually pretty good about that. I would say when you click on the ohio forum and read all the headings to the sections and see which one best fits your question. I just know not alot of responses to big questions are not found under member intros. I know this is a tough and scary time for all those involved and not just the inmate. Your so welcome.....

Try ohio DOC maybe?

My name is Jessy and I'm engaged to an inmate in NorthCentral prison in Marion, OH. He's sentenced to 36 months for petty theft. it sucks and it's lonely. lol but it's bringing us closer since all we have is phone calls and letters.

So I am new to this site. I wish I was new to this prison crap too but unfortunately Im not.

I am however new to this institue. Does anyone have anything on LORCI? My husband just got sentenced to a yr. They sent him from Summit Co Ohio to Lorain Correctional. Now we are hearing thats not gonna be his parent institue?

Sorry Im lost? Every other time he was already where he was gonna do his number when I figured out where he was. This is a new rodeo for me. My name is Misty and I am a married mother of 6. 2 differently abled lil girls, 2 "normal as can be toddlers" and 1 boy. We live in Lancaster Ohio. Any info will be much appreciated. Looking for a LORCI buddy that can help make this time fly by I guess. A yr seems like an eternity.

I have a boyfriend in Richland Correctional Institution. I live in Nebraska currently but am working on moving to Ohio to be with him once he gets out. He is serving 6 months, but has a little more than 2 months left to serve. I feel very lucky in that we have had a long distance relationship for over a year, starting out as friends then progressing to best friends, then him wanting to have me come out and meet him and spend time together. So our communication with each other has always been very good. Which has greatly helped in this situation. He calls me every day, and writes almost every day! I love him with all my heart, and have been his only source of support thru this entire ordeal.
