Hi, WTSP for now

Hi guys, I just found out this morning that my fiance has made it all the way to WTSP. I live in upper E. TN, so this, well it just sucks. I haven't the means to travel to see him, even if I could get a special visit. He was in a county jail, for 15mths, moved on 4/6/11 to CBCX and then FOIL showed him this morning at WTSP, for the first time this morning and I was checking everyday. Of course he is in class now, so I am not too worried. I sure do miss him, phone and visit. Since he is in class. I won't have the phone set up until he touches down, to what we pray is NECX. He was scheduled for a parole hearing on 4/13. I wonder what the odds are of him still having that hearing since he is in classification now? I am trying to figure out this classification stuff. Kinda confusing. I have seen the point sheets they use and as far as I can tell he only has 3 points. Nothing violent while in custody. Their time is strange. As I have been told they surely must be using a magic 8 ball! Jason has a 1yr and a 2yrs at 30% and then 6yrs at 35%. He got auto kick out on the 1yr. Should get the same on the 2yrs soon. All sentences are concurrent to each other. The first 244 days of the 15mths were on a probation violation, which is flat and not included in the 9 yrs. FOIL says the following: Sentence begin date: 9/18/2009. Parole eligiabilty: 11/02/2010. Parole hearing: 4/13/2011. Sentence end: 09/10/2017. He got some 2-4-1 while in county. Not sure how much and I don't have a more recent TOMIS. Wow, it's even more overwhelming when it's all typed out like this. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Is he still at W.T.S.P? My boyfriend is there also and i know how you feel about being so far away, I live in Maryville but its still a very long drive.

My LO just left wtsp and is at whiteville now. I don't know anything about all this stuff I've figured alot out with the help of his cellmates girl friend she called me and told me he was trying to find me

My guy hasn't popped up on FOIL yet. He has 12 years @ 30%. He is in sevier county jail. I was told by the lieutenant that he was "way, way" down the prison list. I'm terrified of him being sent west of Nashville. Memphis would be horrible! That's 8 hours away. What are the chances of him being sent out west? There are 2 prisons close by...and Bledsoe is almost finished up. Is county better than prison? We have never dealt with this before. We have 2 girls that he hasn't seen since dec 7th

Mine is in WTSP right now, unit 9. just got moved outta class last week. They aproved my visit form friday. yeah, the prison crap is completely overwhelming sometimes, so i feel your pain, as im sure we all do. But it does get easier once he's out of classification, not on them, but on us. My hubby is up for transfer to whiteville... its closer to home, but im just now getting use to wtsp's rules and crap. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

In all honestly, when TDOC picks him up from county jail, he will go to WTSP for atleast 30-60 days. All TN inmates go there for classification. There, they will most likely give him a choice to request where he will get transferred to. (under his point guidelines of course) But according to my hubby, county is NOT better than prison. In prison, if their points are low enough, they get to go outside, walk by themselves, no handcuff, no shackles, contact visits, phone calls are cheaper, they can watch tv, listen to music, plus they gett 2for1 in tn prisons (most of em) which will end up cutting his time in half if he behaves himself. lol Hope this helped! :] Feel free to message me if you have any questions girl.

Yea he like MCCX a lot more then county. Once he gets out of class (and I'm hoping he stays there) we can have contact visits!!

Jason got out on Jan.3 2012. I picked him up at WTSP and headed for home. We stopped in Pigeon Forge for the night and got married there the next day! We went back last month to spend our 1st Anniversary there and it was amazing. He is about to celebrate one year at his job. He is clean and healthy and I am so proud of him. The Lord has really blessed us. Tried to send Fancy a PM but her account is closed. If anyone still talks to her, please send my thanks. She was very good to me when I had no one else. I pray she has found her happily ever after and I hope the same for all of you. Now I'm researching some educational opportunities for him. If you have suggestions, we'd appreciate them. Keep your heads up!
