Default Help - he may be tranferred to Sayle Texas Prison Unit

I believe my son is being transferred to Sayle. He caught chain today and from what I'm told is currently at the Byrd unit?? How long will it be before I fine out where he is and when he will be transferred to the safp??? any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like he is on the "Texas Tour." He will bounce around until he gets to his assigned unit. I know it's difficult, but he will settle at some point. You can try to track him on JPay. It isn't real obvious, but the jpay site does show the location. Hit the Preview button at the bottom of the screen after you type anything, and you'll see a two-letter code by the Location listing at the top of the preview screen. Those two letters are the code for his TDCJ unit. You can look up the unit the code refers to here:
