I wouldn't do time for anyone, if they did the crime then they would do the time and yes even my children, it's not teaching them anything if mommy steps up and takes the fall for them.

I pray about this all of the time because it is something that I truly fear. I would serve a life sentence without parole for my mom, sister, and kids. I would not hesitate. I get stupid about my family and that's why I don't run with people because they will get you messed off. I hope my kids follow my example because it's too much of that wrong place, wrong time crap going on and I don't think I could handle visiting my kids in the joint. Doing time for a man or a friend is out of the question and I have a d*** good man and a couple of trustworthy friends but I'm just keeping it real.

None of the above. I'm not doing anyone's time for them if they committed the crime. On the other hand if it was either testifying against my family(including my honey and best female friend) or doing time I would do the time.

I would not do time for anyone. If one committs a crime, one should do the time. Now if the question would be, who would you die for or would you die for someone, then the answer would be...YES, I would give me life for quite a few people and gladly.

I'd do my own time for protecting my family, that includes my husband, children (wishful thinking) or my mother... Maybe my father I still have a soft spot for that a hole.

But I wouldn't do time for someone elses crime... Only my own!

This is such a generic question but it nonetheless really made me think. Honestly, I couldn't answer a solid answer. It would all depend on the situation. For ex: I would say that I would do time for my daughter because I don't ever want her to feel pain or suffering, but at the same time, if she did something wrong I would want her to learn her lesson. Parenting is about guidance and if I bailed my daughter out of everything she ever did, when would she learn right from wrong. I guess this is the same for everyone in my life. Each person would have different limits, and it would all depend on the circumstances

There's no cut and dry answer for this question. On one hand if someone committed a crime I wouldn't volunteer to do their time but if it came down to protecting my children/family I wouldn't stop to consider the consequences I would just react to the situation.

I've actually done time for my mom. She was extremely sick and I couldn't let her go to prison. The only other people I would do that for is my children

It depends on what the situation is, but i think i would take the fall for my husband to keep him from getting his 2nd strike. I have a clean record and would most likely get a lighter sentence than he would with a violent felony, 1st strike on his record. If CA didnt have the 3 strikes law my answer would be different.

My kids any given day of their lives no question and my husband only because he's done several bids already and another one would probably put him away for life.

I believe I may have said so before, but I would without reservation take my friend's place on Death Row any time the state of Texas would allow it.
