Default Website that sends a free postcard

I have to share this website with all of the parents out there that may not know about it, it's called amazingmail.com Not sure but I'll put the link here www.amazingmail.com

The first few you can send free. I sent two with pictures uploaded and have one free with text only left .. for the free ones at least .. and that was without using a credit card -- and they never asked for that kind of info, just the basic info that you have to have anyways, your name & address & your loved ones address. My son learned about it in county. One postcard with a pic of his sister & dog went thru ok, but when I sent him a pic of the new house I moved into, they sent it back "denied." Go figure. But in prison he can get pictures with no problem & I just send him letters. But this service is very cool because you can type the letter, add a pic, and send it for FREE. It can be used for anyone, just to brighten someone's day. I hope this helps someone out there.

God bless.

Thank you, Patty! I hope this brings a BIG smile to someone's face that gets one of these. Now there's no excuse not to write, as you type it online, and they mail it for you for free. My son loved & cherished his pic of his sis & dog.

You're welcome, Scottiesgirl! I originally had this in the "Parents" forum ... but glad that it can be read by ALL.

At first I thought you were talking about Hippopost. That's the site many of us used to use but that site has been down for who knows how long. So thanks for sharing the new website.

Default Wow! Almost 100 views in less than 1 hr!

You're all SO very welcome! I'm SO happy I posted this today! I haven't been on PT much lately but when I read someone's post about sending postcards, the bells went off in my head. My heart is very happy just thinking of someone getting mail that hasn't gotten any in awhile. It means so much to them! They are loved so much by those of us out here waiting. If it made one person's day, it was all worth it! I hope you all keep sharing this as I'm not on here a lot. Please keep the love going! I was even thinking it would be a great way for those who haven't sent Mother's Day cards yet, to utilize this. They send it FAST. They also send you a copy! They ROCK.

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. On the top, right-side of page it says something like "get started now for free." They have a toll-free phone number listed at the top of the page that you can call during daytime hours.

I see they provide an app for iPhone users that you can get off of the website so it can be used with those types of phones.

It's tried-and-true, and totally legit. I hope that they can help you if you're still having problems. Good luck!

I was just going to go look for this thread and I didn't have to because it popped up when I clicked on "New Posts". I wanted to come back here and check to see when my postcard was mailed. (I couldn't remember. I deleted the email confirmation. I created a postcard the same day of my last post.) It's been 8 days and as far as I know he still hasn't received it.

For those who have sent cards, how long is it taking for your loved one to receive it?

Hi Miss A, The first one I sent took a long time, but he was in county & they drag there & don't let some pictures pass through. The jail allowed the postcard with his little sis & dog pic but didn't allow pic of new house I sent on another one I sent, and sent it back to me with a sticker on it saying "picture not allowed." It was never consistent there.

Amazing Mail will send you a post card exactly like the one you sent, so you'll see exactly what he will receive.

I used my free ones up while he was in county but haven't used them since he's been in prison since I can send pics with his letters.

I hope a lot of people take advantage of this because it's tried & true & best of all ........ FREE! YEAH! As much as I've been drained, it was much welcomed.
