Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Default What is A "Proxy"?
What is a proxy? Im reading ppl are getting married in this fashion. Please explain what it is and how it works.

It's when you get married, like in a courthouse, but since your man is incarcerated and can't attend his own ceremony he appoints a stand in (proxy) to take his place and carry out the vows for him. You can do this with incarcerated individuals or those who are overseas (like in the military) and can't be there. I'm a proxy marriage wife but we intend to have a real wedding once he gets out

ANYBODY he chooses can stand in . My hubby's sister was HIS stand in for our courthouse ceremony. Lol.

Does ohio do proxy weddings cuz i read ohio dont allow it but recognizes it if from another state

California, Colorado, Montana & Texas. The only four states where a proxy marriage can be done
