Just wanted to give a quick update, my husbands request for release was denied. We are so tired of fighting we decided today to have our lawyer request voluntary departure. Its been over two months and we dont seem to be getting anywhere I filed the I 130 April 9th and still have a ways to go. So if all goes well he will be going back to Honduras.
I'm doing ok, thanks. We along with our lawyer have decided to request voluntary departure, the requset will be submitted on Monday. My husbands at Broward Transitional here in Florida and we were prepared for a NO but we had to try. One good thing is my husband is just happy to be moving forward. It has felt like we were holding our breaths waiting for a response. My lawyer says its highly unlikely that the judge will deny a VD. I just want him out of that place. I will be joining him in Honduras that's for sure. I'm a teacher and I have a break coming up. Just thankful that its almost over. Well this part anyway.
