Topic of marriage is strange!

Backstory if you haven't read my previous posts... I first dated Drew when I was 21 and he was 24... We split and lost touch for the past 8 years. I looked him up 4 months ago and started writing/visiting him. In the past four months all the feelings we had came back and then some!

Anyways, I find it SO funny when HE brings up the topic of marriage because when we were together back when, I don't think I EVER heard that word come out of his mouth. And he talks about wanting babies lol so funny how time changes men. I wanna say "awww you grew up!" hehehe

I think it's interesting to have been with someone when your young then reconnected at an older age. I met my first love at 20 and he was 23. We dated a year then broke up and I got married. Then 9 yrs later after I was divorced we met again. It was very interesting to see the changes in him from the boy to the man, including chest hair, and it's even a bit grey. Sadly for him, he never grew up emotionally because he did drugs in the missing years.

It's sweet that you get to see the man now and compare him to the boy. Awwwwww...... : )

Wow! That is my relationship. I met him 8 years ago. And unfortunately I was not able to be with him but we were very close. I went off to get married. I came back to Texas and found him..incarcerated. I have been waiting for him since. I knew I loved him then and was making a mistake but he was too young, needed to live his life, he was 18...I was 32. Lol...now he is 26 and I am 40. He and I are best friends and ready for life together.

I metine when he was 19 and I was 22. Spent 3 yrs together, have a son. and it ended in divorce. 6 yrs ago reconnected. He has grown up so much. Mind, body and soul. I love him like crazy.
