Default Probation Revocation?

Hi im new to this and i have no idea what Probation Revocation is? My girlfriend just got put in jail and was hit with 2 of these one felony one misdermenor. I know she is looking at 3 years back up time is there anything i can do? Her felony one is for having a dirty drop and the other is from not being able to pay her house arrest fees. She is in Johnson county if that helps. Any information would be most welcome

Thanks in advance,

Lost, you may have found some of your answers by now. I hope so as it's the not knowing that can drive you nuts. Probation revocation is where they are saying that you violated the terms of your probation and they are requesting that you be sent back to serve additional time. I have been in court in Marion co that includes probation violation so can tell you from here that what happens in the court varies. She could walk out with a reprimand and another chance, she could be offered a chance to go back to prison for a specified amount of time in order to be done with the system. For instance with her 3 years of back up facing her they could say ok you can go back on probation for 2 years, but if you want we can send you back to prison with 1 year do 6 months and be done. The judge could decide that it wasn't that big a deal but put her on a tighter rope. The prosecutor is probably going to paint her as needing to go back. She will be able to get an attorney. If she can't afford one it will be a public defender. I imagine it works similar in Johnson County.

Hope it all works out.
