Default My Outlaw...Edwin Spencer

Well it took me almost a year and I still am having such a hard time accepting this but my Outlaw passed away on April 28th of last year. He developed leukemia while in and as a last slap in the face, knowing he was dying, they denied his parole in January of last year........I know he is watching over me and yet I still want to see his sparkling blue eyes........sigh

I am sorry you are grieving his passing and did not get the chance to be with him as he left this world.
He was blessed to have someone who loved him so much.
Big huggs.

I'm so sorry Outlaw died and you could not be there. You would think that when someone is very ill, they would be released from prison to spend there final days with loved ones, but, I've learned empathy and compassion do not exist within the DOC. At least your Outlaw is at peace and no longer suffering from his painful leukemia. Now I hope for your pain to lessen day by day. Keep the memories of Outlaw fresh, remember his laugh and his favorite sayings. One day it will be a tiny bit easier. I understand, because I lost my child in a prison because they withheld medical care. You have my sincere sympathy.
