ok my finance has been moved from the county to CRC. I had the funds transferred but now he has not been successful in talking to me at CRC, unless he use his prepaid off his phone funds. I have almost fourty dollars on my house phone but evidently he does not know how to call the house phone and use the money on there vs. using the money on his books in order to make calls. He told me it only gives him to options to press 1) for collect or 3) for his prepaid... but how does he call and use the money I have on the house number??? hopes this makes sense

Not sure what you mean by money on the house phone... He has 2 different accounts, his trust fund (books), and his phone account, which is where the money for pre-paid phone calls come from.

When my guy went from county to prison I asked gtl to credit me back my money because the prison phone procedures were a whole different process. At least I was able to get a check in the mail from them after several months but I did have to set up a new prison account to receive calls the money I had on my account was irrelevant once he got to prison

I have Global and Verizon. He calls me collect from Solano and I accept it on my home
phone.....it only costs me $2.10 once a month and I live 7 hours away from him. Only thing
that is awful, the prison phone is very faint and I can hardly hear him. Bummer.

Throught offender connect you can put $$ on a phone card and they can call whoever. I also have GTL and Verizone cell phone, I have a pre-paid account so my son can call me. We are in the same city and get 30 minute calls for $1. The GTL is only for my number. Hope that helps

Thanks so much ladies im going to try one more thing and that is contact my phone provider cincinnati bell to make sure i do not have a block for collect calls.. If that does not work i am just going to ask for a refund
