Poem I wrote for my cousin..

The cold hard steel bracelets that hold him from his family
He lost his freedom for a crime he did
The cold steel bars close behind him and lock up tight
They don't let him wake up to his family only to someone yelling and a dim light coming from his one windowed cell
His home is not home anymore its a cell
His boss is now a guard telling him he can't come out for a shower or a phone call cause something his celly did
The rules are tough to follow and not break
But one day he'll be home where there's no bars, no rules, no guards and no cold steel bracelets...
