I would love to keep visiting slips but the CO's will not let you leave unless you give it to them after the visit I would have kept those too! But aside from that when he got locked up in 2009 I had moved in 2010 & lost a year worth of letters :'( I never really but mind into it until now I kinda wish I had them to go back and read

But I still have the past two years of letters, cut outs, cards, poems, handkerchiefs with drawings, & pictures lol glad I'm not the only one

LOL yes I keep everything organized in a binder as well.. We call it the "G book"... Every single thing that has to do with him goes in it and I bring it everywhere I go.

I have saved all of his letters since 2008 and he has all of the letters that I've sent him as well. We agreed that we are not going to keep any of them when he gets out because we feel that if you look back, you go back. :-)

yes ditto - i have everything and its all in "the box"
it come in handy when he has really pissed me off - i say " thats it, i am going to the box" and then i see allllllll the reasons i love him and its perfect reminder -- and of course i go through it when i miss him too. but that box has gotten him out of a lot of trouble. lol

te amo papi!!

Mine are not in a binder, but I do have them all. After I read them I put a number on the back of the envelope. I wish I could put them in a binder but he takes a full sheet of the yellow legal paper and tears it in half and writes on it that way.. I have no idea why he does it. Makes it seem like there is more in an envelope when he writes long letters. He draws for me and I do have those in frames around my bedroom!

I have all of his letters and they are in the envelopes labeled as to which number letter it was sitting on my shelf in the closet in order. I dont think that is to bad. I know he keeps mine too and he has more than I do cause I write more often than him. Hes also got cards that I guess are stored on his shelf so everyone can see!

Default Guilty!

I do! i was in barnes and noble and saw these "presentation" books that are just a big book that has clear plastic sleeves that fit the entire letter in them. i have all my LO's letters in there, in date order as well, including some letters he wrote me back when we were first seeing each other 20 years ago :-) he thinks it is funny but i love to read the old ones now and reflect on how much we've shared. i know it is probably rediculous but one day when we have grand children and we have passed on, they'll see just how much he loved me by his beautiful love letters and poetry that he's written me over the past 20 years :-) i would love to come across those things of my parents/grand parents etc.

I do the same thing. I have all my baby's letters in a binder so they don't get damaged or smugded because I read them so much.
